One of our Heseders, RoxAnn, is working with Heartline to sponsor a child in Haiti. A sponsorship pays for the child's education, clothes for school and two meals per day.
RoxAnn just received the first pictures of Jimmy Christophe, a twelve-year-old in fifth grade. She says, “He has had a hard life, and has no parents. He has no known birthdate. But he seems gracious and appreciative to be able to attend school. Apparently, a good hugger!"

“Hesed” is a Hebrew word that means “kindness”, “mercy”, “loyalty”, “loving-kindness” or “steadfastness.” It’s the way God intends us to live together—a “love your neighbor as yourself”, active, selfless, sacrificial, caring-for-one-another brand of living contradictory to our fallen natures. The “Heseders” are continually looking to work together to share some small measure of God’s extraordinary love. Won’t you join us?
