Wind River Lutheran Mission Church
WRLMC is undergoing many changes this summer. Pastor Judson has accepted a call to Ellesworth, Kansas, and will be leaving in July. His wife, Kira, and their baby, Samuel, left for Kansas in mid-June and felt blessed to be able to leave the Ronald McDonald House after living there for five months. The Heseders gave the Judsons a monetary gift to help with their relocation. Please continue praying for baby Samuel. He will remain in the medical trials at Denver Children’s Hospital with visits every few months.
Because of this change, the Heseders met and determined that a mission trip to WRLMC is not the best use of our resources at this time. We will stay in touch with the mission church and try to see where we are led to serve in the future!
Peru Mission Trip
The Heseders are planning to send monetary support to the Peru Mission where they served last summer. Janet and Tim are looking into their needs.
Plans are also underway for a return trip in the summer of 2016. We will go with others from Lifetree Adventures, as in the past. We encourage the congregation to begin praying for the work done with these ancient forgotten people of the Amazon River. The next trip will likely involve construction work as well as a medical clinic, perhaps their very first in the village.

“Hesed” is a Hebrew word that means “kindness”, “mercy”, “loyalty”, “loving-kindness” or “steadfastness.” It’s the way God intends us to live together—a “love your neighbor as yourself,” active, selfless, sacrificial, caring-for-one-another brand of living contradictory to our fallen natures. The “Heseders” are continually looking to work together to share some small measure of God’s extraordinary love. Won’t you join us?
