Our Triune God created all things and found them to be “very good.” The world fell into sin and decay, but Jesus raises up all the baptized, rescuing them from death and pouring out the Spirit upon them. He sends out His apostles to make disciples by baptizing all nations “in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Our Triune God thus recreates us in the image and likeness of His incarnate Son and finds us to be very good.
