We live amidst Satan and his wicked angels, who were thrown out of heaven and came down to earth “in great wrath.” But by Christ’s authority God's holy angels guard and keep us, encouraging us and helping us confront Satan’s woeful temptations to sin and constant accusations. These heavenly servants of God preserve those washed in the blood of the Lamb against the power of the enemy. The old Adam and the evil foe are “drowned in the depth of the sea” and God’s people are delivered and raised through the forgiveness of their sins.
