The Lord is the Author and Giver of Life as well as a consuming fire of judgment. We seek the Lord and life, therefore, by hating what is evil, loving what is good and doing what is just and right, according to His Word. That said, we understand that “No one is good except God alone.” The life each of us is called to live is found not in works or wealth, but only in Christ Jesus: hearing and heeding His call, clinging to His Word and encouraging one another daily.”
