The Lord is faithful; His steadfast love never ceases and His compassions never fail. Like the woman who had been bleeding for twelve years and the ruler with a dying daughter, we look to Jesus. They waited on His mercy, and each received Jesus’ saving help. At the right time, the woman was healed and the little girl raised. Such is the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, who humbled Himself, even to death, “so that you by his poverty might become rich” in life everlasting.
