The annual Fall Fair is coming soon! The members of Saint John’s always look forward to the Fall Fair as a great opportunity to eat, socialize and shop while supporting a worthy cause. Join us in the Large Fellowship Hall on Sunday, October 9, starting right after the worship service.
We will again serve a continental breakfast of egg muffins, fruit and juice—and coffee!—for a free-will offering. Be sure to complement your breakfast with a purchase from our bake sale, featuring a variety of delicious homemade baked goods. The prices are low and every item is made with homemade care!
Bible class and Sunday school will happen at their usual times, after which you will have a chance to finish up your shopping until noon.
The Fall Fair is sponsored by our Lutheran Women in Mission (Saint John’s Mission Guild) and members of Thrivent Financial. The proceeds from the Fair will go to our beneficiaries, the Wolf Family in Kenya. John and Jenn Wolf will serve the Lord as career missionaries through The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) in Kenya. As the Africa region’s project manager, John will provide oversight and support for projects and grants across the region, with a particular focus on mercy work. He will also train the local people and the local church partners to develop, manage and sustain projects that support Christian growth and congregational needs across Africa.
All of Saint John’s members are invited to provide a broad variety of baked goods and plants. If you bake or have too many plants, please consider donating!
Please help support the Sunday, October 9, Fall Fair fundraiser with your donations and purchases.
The Mission Guild is Saint John’s branch of the national Lutheran Women’s Missionary League organization that participates in mission projects both at home and abroad.
