What makes Open Arms such a special place?
- Open Arms Christian Preschool is a happy, positive place with enthusiastic teachers, children and parents.
- Our program is developmentally-appropriate with emphasis on social and emotional growth, and includes instruction in the the content areas of language, reading readiness, math, science, music, gross motor, fine motor and social and emotional skills.
- A theme-based curriculum, based on the Colorado Early Learning and Development Guidelines, appropriate to a preschooler’s level of interest.
- Teachers with college education and many years experience with children.
- Small class sizes with a maximum of fifteen students and at least two teachers per classroom.

- “Children around the world” themes.
- Field trips provide students with hands-on, real-life experiences and classroom guest speakers bring a variety of real life learning to the children.
- Academic concepts are included in the Pre-K program. Poudre School District kindergarten teachers and former parents praise how well the children are prepared for kindergarten after attending Open Arms Preschool.
- Parents are welcome (but not required) to help in the classroom.
- Scholastic book orders are available every month.
