Mission Guild Picnic
All ladies are invited to our "Patriotic Picnic," where we will enjoy a potluck meal and have some fun playing Bingo. Tuesday, June 2, at 6:00 PM in the Small Fellowship Hall. Please bring a dish to share; drinks and place settings will be provided.
Church Cleanup Day
Grab your weed-pulling gloves and other gear for a morning of cleanup inside and outside the church building. Saturday, June 6, 8:00 AM to Noon.
First Sunday “Eat and Greet” Potluck
Bring a dish to share and stick around after the Bible Study Hour to enjoy good food and great fellowship at this picnic lunch hosted by the Board of Fellowship. Sunday, June 7, at 10:30 AM in the Large Fellowship Hall.
Wind River Mission Trip
We are putting together a team to go to Wind River Lutheran Mission Church in Wyoming in early August, to put on a Vacation Bible School and help with projects around the church. The trip will be from August 1 to 7. If you're interested in coming and lending a hand, please speak to Nelly Sanford or Elise Smith.
Saint John's Softball
Saint John's new softball team, the Eagles, won their first game 17 to 12 after two exciting extra innings. Here's the schedule for the rest of the season—please come cheer for your fellow members!

Because of VBS, this month's Council meeting will be postponed to June 16 at 6:00 PM in Room 302.
Food and Clothing Bank Needs
We are seeking donations of non-perishable food items, new or gently-used clothing (especially men's jeans and children's clothing size three and larger) and small household items.
New Hymnal Committee
At our Spring Congregation Meeting, we voted to adopt and use the Lutheran Service Book as our new hymnal. If you are interested in serving on the committee that will help put this in place, please contact Pastor Nettleton.
