The Council met on May 12 at 6:00 PM.

The Treasurer’s report indicated we are still in the red.

Board reports were given. Jessica Stevens has agreed to chair the preschool board. There are currently twelve children enrolled for the 2015–2016 school year. Worships Arts indicated Palmer House will be decorating the half walls in the sanctuary in the near future. Vacation Bible School will be June 8–11. Human Needs is coordinating the Alpha Center baby bottle campaign. The bottles are due back to church on Father’s Day. The Music Committee has been searching for an organist.

Council meetings are typically held at 6:00 PM on the second Tuesday of the month. However, because of Vacation Bible School, the next Council meeting will be on June 16 at 6:00 PM.

The thirteen members of the Church Council are the “Board of Directors” of the congregation, tasked with general oversight of the life and activities of the congregation to the end that everything be done in accordance with the Constitution and Bylaws.
