God reveals His perfect holiness in compassion. His grace in Jesus Christ is a gift of holiness that begins with fearing, loving and trusting God above all things. It, in turn, leads us to love our neighbor as ourselves. No longer should we practice injustice, partiality or slander among God’s people. Though we were His enemies, our Lord Jesus Christ has loved us and forgiven us. Nourished and sustained by His holy body and blood, we are made holy even as the Lord our God is holy.
