The annual Fall Fair is coming soon! The members of Saint John’s always look forward to this great opportunity to eat, socialize and shop while supporting a worthy cause. Join us in the Large Fellowship Hall on Sunday, October 21, right after the worship service.
This year, because of our one-service worship schedule, we will be doing things a bit differently. We will not be serving lunch, but instead will have a continental breakfast available for a freewill offering (this will be in addition to our regular baked goods sale). We will then have Bible class and Sunday school as usual. You will have a chance to finish up your shopping after Bible class until noon.
Saint John’s members provide a broad variety of baked goods, crafts and plants. They make excellent gifts! The prices are low and every item is crafted with something you can’t buy in a store: love! In addition to these sales there will be a silent auction. If you bake, craft, have too many plants or have an item for the silent auction, please consider donating!
The Fall Fair is sponsored by our Lutheran Women in Mission (Saint John’s Mission Guild) and the members of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. The proceeds from the Fair, plus supplemental funds from the Larimer County Chapter of Thrivent, will go to our beneficiaries: a Saint John’s member and the Lutheran Malaria Initiative.
Please help support this fund raiser with your donations and purchases at this year’s Fall Fair on Sunday, October 21.
The Mission Guild is Saint John’s branch of the national Lutheran Women’s Missionary League organization that participates in mission projects both at home and abroad.
