Alpha Center is a non-profit organization in Fort Collins less than four blocks from Saint John’s that provides support, education, and counsel to individuals facing decisions about sexuality, relationship and pregnancy issues. Alpha Center has served the Larimer County area since 1985 and operates solely on the donations from many generous individuals, businesses and churches in our community who recognize the need for a safe support system for these individuals.
Through the medical clinic and various other services, Alpha Center is able to provide counsel and support to a large population of students and others who face important decisions related to sexual health and unplanned pregnancies by helping them make informed decisions and by sharing the love of Jesus Christ and His saving Gospel.
I recently joined the Alpha Center medical team and have had the opportunity to see first-hand the way lives can be transformed in this unique ministry. Now you can join in this ministry as well through the “Baby Bottle Campaign.”
Alpha Center made over $30,000 in the 2011 Baby Bottle Campaign, making it one of their biggest—and it couldn’t be easier!
Each family takes home an empty baby bottle supplied by Alpha Center, puts it in a noticeable place, and fills it with checks, cash and change. When full, simply return your bottle to Saint John’s. The Board of Human Needs will distribute and collect bottles from Mother’s Day (May 13) to Father’s Day (June 17).
In addition to asking for your continual prayer for this ministry, the staff at Alpha Center welcomes you to come by for a private tour or join them for their morning prayer times. There are also numerous ways to volunteer both within the center and outside in the community.
Also, plan to join Alpha Center for the following events: The Annual Loveland Walk for Life is Saturday, June 9. Alpha Center’s Annual Dessert Gala in Fort Collins, featuring special guest speaker Bruce Wilkinson, will be Saturday, September 8.
When you partner with Alpha Center, you help keep their doors open to those who are seeking to change their life. Thank you from sharing from your heart!
