Saint John’s sewing/blanket-making group meets every Thursday at the church. In November, they sent twenty of their hand-made quilts to Lutheran World Relief. The beautiful blankets will be put to work around the world, warming the cold: the poor, refugees and those suffering from natural disasters. What a wonderful witness of God’s love to our neighbors in need!
Anyone with sewing skills is invited to come help make blankets and quilts for Lutheran World Relief and other community and international needs. The group meets on Thursdays at 9:00 AM in the Small Fellowship Hall. Please join them any Thursday!
The Quilters meet each week on Thursday from 9:00 to Noon. Contact the church office for more information.
