Kandy has a bachelor’s degree in Vocational Home Economics Education and has taught child development classes. She taught preschool in Arizona, ran her own licensed home day care, participated with her four children in parent cooperative preschools, helped with scouting programs, bible study program child care and was assistant director at Open Arms Christian Preschool for six years before taking on the Director role.

Lani has five children from 21 down to six years old. During her children’s school years she volunteered for preschool, elementary, middle school and high school. After her fourth child, she became a teacher’s aide for the Poudre School District for preschool until her fifth child was born.
