It is that time again! We are starting registration for preschool classes for 2012–2013. Registration is open now for those currently enrolled, alumni and Saint John’s Church members. The Preschool class is for children who are 3 years old by September 15, 2012, and includes 3- and 4-year-old children. This class meets on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:45 to 11:30. The Pre-K class is for 4- and 5-year-old children who are 4 by September 15, 2012. The Pre-K class meets on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8:45 to 11:30.
Please stop by the preschool to pick up a registration for your child or children as soon as possible. Registration will be open to the community on February 1, and we have already received some requests for enrollment for the Pre-K class. If you have grandchildren, neighborhood children, or know of other children who would benefit from an outstanding Christian Preschool, pick up a brochure from the Welcome Center or at the preschool sign in shelf in the preschool hall to give to them.
We added five new children to the preschool in January, so we now have a total of 25 enthusiastic children and their families coming to Open Arms at Saint John’s. What a wonderful outreach you provide to the community!
We appreciate your continued support through the offering envelopes, Thrivent donations, purchasing Script and grocery cards, and we have just a few Pizza Pal cards left. In March we will have the Gulley’s Greenhouse cards available for you to purchase at the Welcome Center. Thank you to those who have donated cookie cutters, Christmas cards and various items for crafts. We are making very good use of all the donations.
We are now beginning our pretend travel around the world, learning about our senses, learning safety with police visits, fire fighter visits, and learning about being healthy. There is always exciting fun with the learning.
