It’s movie time! Your Thrivent representatives, Nancy Behm and Ryan Behm, will be showing the movie “Luther,” starring Joseph Fiennes, as a celebration of the Reformation. You are invited to come to the MacKenzie Place (4750 Pleasant Oak Drive) to see the film on either Friday, October 28, at 7:00 pm or Saturday, October 29, at 1:00 pm.
“Luther” is the 2003 film telling the story of Martin Luther, “the Sixteenth Century idealistic German monk who, disgusted by the materialism in the church, began the dialogue that led to the Protestant Reformation.” (IMDB.com)
The price of admission is a non-perishable food item—and, for every family that donates, Thrivent Cares—Lutherans Share will donate $10 to the Saint John’s Food Bank.
