    Influenced by her son to become Christian, Helena (or Helen) lived an exemplary life of faith. She is also remembered for traveling through Palestine building churches on the sites she believed to be associated with Christ's life.
December 25: Christmas Day Carols and Lessons

On Christmas Day, we celebrate the Savior's birth with a service of Carols and Lessons, focussing on the prologue to John's gospel, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God … ."
