    Monday, May 21

    Influenced by her son to become Christian, Helena (or Helen) lived an exemplary life of faith. She is also remembered for traveling through Palestine building churches on the sites she believed to be associated with Christ's life.
February 5: Fifth Sunday after Epiphany

In Jesus' healing we see the hand of the Creator, lifting up the sick woman to health and service. Following Jesus, we strengthen the powerless; like Jesus, we seek to renew our own strength in quiet times of prayer.
