The children of the Sunday School sang two special songs on Ash Wednesday. Thanks to the children for ministering to us in this worship service. Thanks also to the parents who brought their children and gave them this opportunity!
The ninth Children’s Lenten Art Show is on its way! Thanks to Diana Fields for coordinating this event and also to Open Arms Preschool for their participation. Here again we see the children ministering to us by sharing their faith through art. Thanks to all the children and the parents who helped. The children will get to take their artwork and ribbons home on Palm Sunday.
Thank you to Bailey Bohlender who read our 255th devotion on February 27 for Dial-A-Devotion. This was the last and final recording. Thank you to all the children who ministered to those who called the devotion line by sharing faith thoughts and prayers on the phone for others to call in and listen.
The Interpretative Liturgical Dancers will be dancing at the Good Friday worship service. Thank you to Lou Anne Yee for guiding these girls in order for them to minister to us by stirring our souls in praise and glory to God.
Thanks to the Sunday School teachers who prepare special lessons each week to show God’s love and how He cares for His children. Thank you to the children who minister back to the teachers with their child-like faith.
All the members of the Children’s Ministry TEAM and those who have volunteered in various programs and events have been so blessed to be ministered to by the children of Saint John’s.
I have been so blessed to have been ministered to by the children of Saint John’s as Director of Children’s Ministry. As the Lord now lifts the yoke of Children’s Ministry from my shoulders, I will trust that He will continue to send the Holy Spirit to this place so that His lambs may always be fed in His house with His Word. I pray that the children will be filled with the Holy Spirit in order to continue their ministry.
