There is one more Kid’s Night Out—Bible Blast! this school year. Wednesday, February 9, is the date! We will begin at 5:30 pm with pizza, pop and games. From 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm, preschoolers and Kindergarteners will enjoy LiL’K in the Blanket Fort, and children in grades 1–6 will gather for KiDMo! in the Large Fellowship Hall. The younger children will learn that even though they are small they can do big things with God’s help. The older children are “Agents in Motion” as they begin their mission of being life-changers in their family, community, and even their world. This high impact, media-driven Bible experience only costs $3.00 per child. We encourage you to help your children bring their friends and register today!

February is “Hearts For Jesus” month! This year’s mission project is Wheatridge Ministry’s “Giving Gardens,” which provides seeds and agricultural support to missionaries and mission teams throughout the world. Visit the Children’s Ministry Bulletin Board for more information. If you would like to help the children with this special mission project, please watch for opportunities or bring your gift to the church office. We will be participating in this mission project from February 6 through March 6. “Giving Gardens” offers you another way to share the love of Christ in a hungry world.
Our Hearts For Jesus goal is $500. The money will be used to purchase garden seeds to grow gardens full of nutritious vegetables that will feed many families and fruits that can transform sick and malnourished children into healthy and energetic boys and girls. Surplus food from the gardens is sold to earn money for other kinds of food, clothing, medicine and education. Seeds from the produce may be collected and used for the next season’s crop. The seeds of faith that are planted in young people through special garden schools are taught by trained teachers and missionaries.
