Thrivent Cares—Lutherans Share
Your Thrivent Financial for Lutherans Fort Collins Associates, Nancy Behm and Ryan Behm, invite all Lutherans to join them in Thrivent’s mission to give back to the community.
“Thrivent Cares—Lutherans Share” will reach out and benefit Fort Collins and those in need with a different focus project every 90 days.
This August we kicked off “Thrivent Cares—Lutherans Share” with a 90-day food drive to benefit the Saint John’s, Zion and Larimer County food banks. Our goal is to feed 5,000 physically by collecting 5,000 pounds of food and spiritually by placing labels printed with John 3:16—”For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life”—on the donated food items.
We are excited to report that we have already collected over 1000 pounds toward our goal! Nancy Behm and Ryan Behm wish to thank all of you for your generosity and enthusiasm in helping to support this project.

Thrivent Choice
Help Lutheran organizations that are near and dear to you—even our congregation!
Eligible benefit members of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans can now help choose where Thrivent Financial distributes a portion of its charitable funds through “Choice Dollars,” part of the organization’s new “Thrivent Choice” charitable grant program.
Eligible benefit members have received a letter about their designated Choice Dollars for 2010.
Each Thrivent member is designated “Choice Dollars” based on qualifying insurance premiums, qualifying contract values and Thrivent Financial volunteer leadership. Potential amounts range from $25 to $500 for each eligible benefit member.
“Choice Dollars” can be directed to thousands of Lutheran organizations nationwide, including Saint John’s. Gifts to Saint John’s can be directed to the church, and will be applied toward building renovation projects. You may also specify the Saint John’s Foundation (for the undesignated fund), or Open Arms Preschool. Visiting Thrivent.com/thriventchoice or call 800-THRIVENT (800-847-4836) and saying, “Thrivent Choice” to make your choice!
