For the FIFTH SUNDAY IN LENT, Pastor Bestian will give the final message of his series, "How to Be Confident in Uncertain Times," a study on II Corinthians 4–5, with the message, "Be Contagious: You Can Make a Difference."
On January 10 we celebrated the BAPTISM OF OUR LORD, when Jesus is baptized and revealed to be the Son of God. Pastor Bestian gave a message called "A Three Dollar Haircut," based on the readings for the day.
Patrick, bishop, missionary to Ireland, died 461 Wednesday, March 17
A native of Britain, Patrick was kidnapped by pirates at age sixteen and sold into slavery in Ireland. After a few years, he escaped, returned home, and entered the ministry. Returning to Ireland, he successfully served as a bishop and missionary there.
