One last Kid’s Night Out—Bible Blast! is left for this school year. Wednesday, February 10, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm all children in preschool through sixth grade are invited to attend and encouraged to bring a friend along to this awesome event. Pizza, pop, games and having fun together in God’s Word is what it’s all about. This outreach and fellowship event has been a wonderful blessing. Since we only meet five times a year, each event is a treasured time.
A big thank you to all our volunteers who made this opportunity possible here at Saint John’s. Thanks to Jenn Boeche, Sharon Eulert, Barb & Frank Faucett, Eric, Sammi Gardner, Sue Gardner, Trudi Geilenkirchen, Janelle Gibbons, Sharon Gibbons, Bill & Peggy Herzog, Jill Hudak, Shawn Knopp, Arlene & Leon Knox, Marlis Lane, Gail Lerkins, Susi Martin, Brittany Phelps, Cheryl Poole, Jen Rael, Alyssa Sanderson, Lisa Sanderson, Kevin Seiler, and Alison Woodward. Their service to the Lord has been an inspiring witness of their faith and it is very appreciated.
Another big thank you to the faithful parents who brought their children. Your commitment to this program has been a blessing. The visitor children who come benefit so much from the children of Saint John’s being at Kid’s Night Out—Bible Blast! Thank you for taking the time and energy to help your children bring friends along.
This program has also been a great outreach to the Open Arms Preschool. It’s a real joy to share Jesus with such little ones eager to hear more about their Savior. February will conclude our third year of Kid’s Night Out—Bible Blast! At this present time we are evaluating the program to see if it is something want to continue in the future. Your input is valuable.

Ash Wednesday, February 17, will once again be our traditional spaghetti dinner provided by the Woman-to-Woman Bible Study group. The children in preschool through sixth grade will be singing in the 6:30 pm worship service following the dinner. What a very special night for our church family!
Also, the Children’s Lenten Art Show is coming up soon! Parents, be watching for information that goes home with your child from Sunday School. This year, the children will be working on their special artwork at home and bringing it for display in the Large Fellowship Hall. Award ribbons will be given.
Parents, please remember to bring your child’s Baptismal picture to be placed in our special photo album.
Dial-A-Devotion is still up and running. You are encouraged to have your child call it each week for a special children’s devotion. 482-0619.
